Full Description
The course is designed for the Fire Service Instructor who, in addition to meeting Instructor I qualifications, wants to develop the knowledge and ability to develop individual lesson plans for a specific topic including learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments; schedule training sessions based on overall training plan of the authority having jurisdiction; and supervise and coordinate the activities of other instructors.

Resources Required
To test for Fire Instructor II, you shall have an Active Instructor I certification and shall provide IDHS Fire Certification section with a copy of 20 hours of CEU's, instructional hours and evaluation hours. An Instructor recertification form has been attached to the documents for this course. You may use this document to show your 20 hours.

This course is designed for the Fire and Emergency Services Instructor who, in addition to meeting Instructor I qualifications, wants to develop the knowledge and ability to develop lesson plans, instructional aids, evaluation instruments, schedule training sessions, and supervise and coordinate activities of other instructors.
